Dead Weight (2009, dir. Yemane Demissie, 110 min.) screened at the Black Film Media Film Festival in London on Tuesday, November 10th. This feature (co-scored with Lauren Cregor while we studied with Ira Newborn at NYU) was also written up in the UK’s Guardian film blog.
